City State of the Invincible Overlord: The largest city in the Roglaras, with a population of 20,000, is nevertheless a tributary state of the City State of the World Emperor.  The city has an "aristocratic civilization" (government), is ruled an "overlord" — the Invincible Overlord Balarnega, has a fortress with reserve troops and its artisans produce looms, compasses and plate-mail.  Its society enjoys a balance between order and anarchy and between community and self-interest and its principal resource is its market. City State of the World Emperor: The largest city in Viridistan — indeed in all of the Wilderlands — with a population of 120,000.  The city has an "dictatorial civilization" (government), is ruled an "emperor" — the World Emperor Hautulin Seheitt, has multiple fortresses and allies and its artisans produce telescopes, the calculus and sextants.  Its society enjoys a balance between order and anarchy and between community and self-interest and its principal resource is its market.

Modron: The sixth largest city in the Roglaras, with a population of 1,230, is located where the River Modron empties into the Estuary of Roglaroon.  The city has a "feudal civilization" (government), is ruled by a "king" — Anoethin, has a castle and vassal armies and its artisans produce rockets, glasses and crucible steel.  Its society enjoys a balance between order and anarchy and between community and self-interestt and its principal resources are gems. Sticklestead: The fourth largest city in the Roglaras, with a population of 2,540, is located in the hills of the Gasconfold Plain, near the Mouth of Roglaroon.  The city has a "tributary civilization" (government), is ruled by a "governor" — Kargrol, has a keep and garrison troops and its artisans produce screws, windmills and silk.  Its society enjoys a balance between order and anarchy and between community and self-interest and its principal resources are horses. Tarantis: The largest city in the Tarantis region, with a population of 6,000, is located at the mouth of the River Azurerain on the Winedark Sea coast.  The city has a "feudal civilization" (government), is ruled by a "king" — Atar the Lion, has a castle and vassal armies and its artisans produce rockets, glasses and crucible steel.  Its society tends toward order and self-interest and its principal resource is its market. Targnol Port: The second largest city in Viridistan, with a population of 2,929, is located where the River Leander empties into the Trident Gulf.  The city has a "oligarchic civilization" (government), is ruled by a "noble" — Shah Abdu Inslar, has outside troops and its artisans produce crossbows, chainmail and spinning wheels.  Its society enjoys a balance between order and anarchy and between community and self-interest and its principal resource is its port. Tarsh: The largest city in the Valley of the Ancients, with a population of 3,560, is located on the River Dor, a tributary of the Ruling River which empties into the Bay of Kantaroon.  The city has an "aristocratic civilization" (government), is ruled by an "overlord" — the Lady Markenius, has a fortress and reserve troops and its artisans produce looms, compasses and plate-mail.  Its society enjoys a balance between order and anarchy and between community and self-interest and its principal resource is its market. Thunderhold: The fifth largest city in the Roglaras, with a population of 2,000, this Dwarven stronghold is located the the Majestic Mountains north of the City State.  The city has a "feudal civilization" (government), is ruled by a "king" — the Dwarven King Boralin, has a castle and vassal armies and its artisans produce rockets, glasses and crucible steel.  Its society tends toward order and community and its principal resource is gems. Tula: The largest city in the Silver Skein Isles, with a population of 9,120, is located on the southwestern shore of the southern Winedark Sea near Sailor's Bane Cape.  The city has an "aristocratic civilization" (government), is ruled by an "overlord" — the High Lord Waremoss, has a fortress and reserve troops and its artisans produce looms, compasses and plate-mail.  Its society tends toward order and community and its principal resource is its market.
