Campaign Map 6 - City State region
|
The region surrounding the City State of the World Emperor (Campaign Map 6), also known as Viridistan, comprises the mainland west of the Pazidan Peninsula and is bordered by the peninsular region of the City State of the Invincible Overlord to the east, the Elphand Lands to the north, the equatorial Desert Lands to the south and an unknown interior to the west.
The City State, located where the River Leander empties into the Trident Gulf, is by far the largest settlement in the entire Wilderlands, with a population of 120,000. With a population of 2,929, the port city of Targnol, capital of Lyoophiath Province, where the Stickthorn River empties into the Trident Gulf, is the second largest settlement in the region. The largest non-human settlement is the Elven forestry village of Hefæland Cleft, population 400, north of the City State, in the Elsenwood northeast of the River Leander.
No dragons have been seen in the region of the City State in generations but there are rumours of a dæmon den near the headwaters of the Quessen River in central Lyoophiath Province. (There are also more quiet rumours that more than one of the Padishah are dæmons too but these are only shared by the unwise.)

Campaign Map 9 - Elphand Lands
|
North of Viridistan are the Elphand Lands (Campaign Map 9), bordered on the east by the Valon region, on the north by unknown Arctic tundra and by an unknown interior to the west. The Elphand Lands are sparsely populated and there is little civilization in the region.
The largest settlement in the Elphand Lands, with a population of 324, is the trapping village of Ridgewell, in the southwestern Plain of Lethe and part of the World Emperor's Elphand Territories to the south. Indeed, there are several somewhat larger non-human settlements in the Elphand Lands, the largest being the Dwarven silver mining village of Wenglor, with a population of 401, in the northern Forbidden Forest, north of the Bay of Cayerva into which the Greatflood River empties.
There are rumours of a dragon in the Deeprock Lake which is said to terrorize the settlement on the Isle of the Hoary Head.

Campaign Map 7 - Desert Lands
|
South of Viridistan are the Desert Lands (Campaign Map 7), bordered on the east by the Trident Gulf and the Little Pazidan Peninsula of the central Pazidan Peninsula region, on the north by the Lenap region and by an unknown desert interior to the west. Like the northern Elphand Lands, the equatorial Desert Lands are also sparsely populated and there is little civilization in the region.
The largest settlement in the Desert Lands, with a population of 393, is the tar-mining village of Abdu-Kab, in the Stoning Valley between the central Haunting Range and the Lesser Haunting Range to the north. Considered as a group, the Mycretian Holy Cities, in the drifting dunes west of the Patchwork Desert, with a combined population of 380, rival Abdu-Kab in size (the population rises to over 600 if the non-human villages are included). The largest non-human settlement in the Desert Lands is the Gnomish market village of Questravale, population 387, on the Tuirenn River before it empties into the southern Trident Gulf.
A dragon is rumoured to prey upon ships sailing near the southern end of the Vardane Strait in the Trident Gulf.
